  10. MsGbergh Says:

advantage with nursing, don`t have to worry about how much milk to take, but no need to taste milk in front of airline staff, to prove you are not carrying dodgy stuff.

    Dear All,

I have some questions about childhood psychology:

    (1) Why do children love flying?

    (2) Why do children like to fly high more than adults?

    (3) What will be the best toys for children to play onborad an aeroplane?

    (4) What will be the favorite food for children in their inflight meal? And, Why?

THANK YOU IN ADAVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  12. dirtydiaperdiaries Says:

@diayang you know I did this video about 4 years ago when they still had pillows on planes so I bet I used those. But I also remember folding up a sweatshirt and using that.

  13. diayang Says:

just wondering do you carry a pilliow or something that the baby can sleep on while in your lap?

  14. dirtydiaperdiaries Says:

@lewiswinslow I love the idea of wrapping the gift - makes it more of an event and forces the kid to move on and do something other than melt down. Great suggestion!

  15. lewiswinslow Says:

As a father I can’t relate to some of the topics, but before kids I never used a backpack, now I don’t leave home without, even now that they are a little older. I remember my first trip solo with my daughter (maybe a year and 1/2) I had so many toys, books and snacks I think I needed two backpacks. But the best trick might have been, wrapping small gifts for her to open when you just know the meltdown is around the corner.

We have traveller overseas 4 times in my daughters first year. The first time was traumatic but it got easier and now she’s a breeze. A few travel products from gogo mumma really helped to. The airplane seatback organizer saved us!

    Dear All,

    I have some curious questions:

    (1) What is the reason behind that young children love flying?

    (2) Why do a commerical jet so attractive to children?

    (3) What is the most attractive inflight meal for children?

    (4) What is the best inflight entertainment and airline toys for children?

    WHAT GREAT TIPS! You rock!

  26. MamaNaturalBlog Says:

@liljnnaps1 Good luck mama! You can bring the carseat and if it doesn’t fit in the plane, they will check it for you at the gate. I like the window seat best because it’s more private and peaceful.

  27. liljnnaps1 Says:

    Hey
We are traveling from Finland to New Zealand next saturday. We have a 2 yr old and a 1month old. The 2 yrold has herown seat. But I was wondering if i should risk taking a car seat for the baby.We will also have a stroller and im thinking the baby equpiment is mounting up and what happens tothe car seat if theres no spare seats for it?
Helpful video, just one thing about the window seat, i heard the opposite from others regarding the aisle seat being better for feeding and access.

We like the tip of taking your own car seat with you on trip !

Our tip is to attach the seat to a gogo Kidz Travelmate (from Go-Go Babyz) !

@MamaNaturalBlog you are giving horrible advise bringing the extra clothes didnt work because i have twins adn they got jet leg and they were pooping nonstop and it was down there back every time plz give me more advise

  32. DAN5675able Says:

@MamaNaturalBlog what about passengers? They tend to get fussy over a baby getting fussy.

  33. MamaNaturalBlog Says:

@sixpence516 The airline took the car seat and stroller fraome at the gate. Easy, peasy. I think they would do the same with a bigger stroller as well. It went very well. Also, we asked the airline attendant at the gate if there was any open seats so that we could put the car seat directly into a seat. We were able to do this with one flight and it was awesome since Griffin then truly had his own “seat” versus having to sit in one of our laps. Hope this helps and good luck! XO.

  34. sixpence516 Says:

I know this sounds like a silly question, but what do you do with the carseat and stroller when you board the plane? I know they store them for you, but how did that go? I’ve got a big stroller and carseat, not just an umbrella stroller.

  35. MamaNaturalBlog Says:

@summergirl6599 Awesome to hear! Thanks so much for sharing… XOXO.

  36. summergirl6599 Says:

When i went to france with my mom a and baby sister i thought it would be the worst flight ever but i shared this video with my mom and she did some of the things you said and she cryed once during take for 2 minutes thank you so much for the video.

  37. MamaNaturalBlog Says:

@MsLoraBella GOOD LUCK, Mama! Remember, you WILL land and it WILL be over, no matter how much crying :).

  38. MsLoraBella Says:

Thank you so much for your tips! We are flying from New York to Florida with my 11 weeks old baby boy!!! I am joking saying that I will probably be one of those moms on a plane that everybody hates because her baby is crying non stop:) wish me luck! And the sky in the end of your video was absolutely gorgeous!!!!

  39. saraktish1 Says:

I am flying to South Africa from London for the first time with my 4 month old baby girl, and I was dreading it, but you have definitely put my mind at ease, Thank you so much!!

  40. MamaNaturalBlog Says:

@willabewallabe iPod with movies is good idea! Griff isn’t there yet but will be soon enough :).

  41. willabewallabe Says:

love traveling with our children. our first was 12 weeks, 2nd was 6 weeks when they first traveled. neither has ever cried or fussed for more than a minute or two. we also try to pick times to travel that fall within nap time, so they’re naturally tired. or over a meal time, passes time quickly…then often snooze. an ipod with movies has been a great thing for our oldest now, as well. another big one for us is car seat…we never travel without them, they’re use to them and they’re comfy

  42. thebug707 Says:

@cockwiper i agree taking a baby on a plane at all is not a good idea!

  43. USMCBaby2011 Says:

Im going to be flying in december with a 2 week old, 21 hour flight, with 4 stops thank god i have an overnight stopover or id be tearing my hair out

  44. DAN5675able Says:

lets see my mom took me to disneyworld. It was my first time on a plane and I was 9 at the time

  45. Danniegurl Says:

If you read the carriers it says not to use on an airplane, I’m not sure if it’s referring to take off and landing either. We’ll be taking the Ergo for our 1yr old, but I’m pretty sure it will only be used to get to the gate.

This will be our first trip with our son.

  46. MamaNaturalBlog Says:

@CrazyLeoMom I find that it helps to sit in the backseat after a few hours to keep the baby entertained or soothed. Good luck! Kudos to you with cloth diapering on vaca :). XO.

  47. CrazyLeoMom Says:

We haven’t done any traveling yet, but we usually don’t do planes. We have 2 very long car trips coming up (one 15 hours and then 2 weeks later one that’s 8 hours) and I am a little nervous about how our 8 month old will do. Hopefully she’ll sleep some. My son never went on long car trips as a baby so this is a new avenue for me. Not many road trip videos, so maybe I should catalog our experiences. It will also be our 1st time cloth diapering on vacation. EEK! Here’s to hoping all goes well!

  48. abracdabra1408 Says:

when i travel i leave my baby girl with mommy , but one time i travel with her , it was fun and there was cry moment , but i give her prastmol and she slipt and wake up fresh

  49. angicle Says:

I took my baby girl from Tennessee to Utah when she was 7 months old, and I don’t think I could have done it any earlier than that and had both of us kept our sanity. She was awesome, though! Your tips are right on. I just nursed her every time we took off and every time we landed and she didn’t fuss at all! It was great only having one leg on the way there, but on the way back, there were 3 legs (ugh!), the last one being an only 45 minute flight, but it was by far the worst one.
