I would like to thank the Sheriff deputy pointed out in this video for not being afraid to support the PEOPLE while on duty! I would, however, also like to say that while I also saw quiet areas in the audience and many people trying to get out after the last OFFICIAL float, while the people’s floats were held back by police to the point where people didn’t notice there was more to see… I ALSO witnessed many sections of the audience cheering loudly as the people’s floats approached and passed.

@Sylinic That’s not the most important issue though. The more important message would be get the banks out of our politicians pockets. Banks & Corporations completely control our representatives through lobbying thus silencing the wills of 99% of this country. People think that “we are the 99%” is just rhetoric but what they mean is this corruption literally silences the wills of pretty much every American whether they realize it or not.

  8. Sylinic Says:

@StratoBlaster420 Yes, pretty much. I mean until they actually say, “MAKE THE BANKS PAY BACK THE MONEY!”, where the media can’t distort that, it can’t really go anywehre.

  9. StratoBlaster420 Says:

@Sylinic I think the problem is there are just too many problems in this country. People are just pissed off about a wide range of issues.

  10. Sylinic Says:

@StratoBlaster420 I know the gist, but a formal demand on their website.

  11. rpoet60 Says:

    @flyingfishdreams,
Dr. Jill Stein needs to get busy, then.
The 99% hasn’t even heard of her.
Blog posts and college lectures won’t get her anywhere.
    She needs TV real exposure.
Maddow interviewed Rocky Anderson, will she or Olbermann give Stein a shout out? How ’bout Chris Hayes?
    Time’s a-wastin’.

  12. eboyd32 Says:

@mikeqike that’s an outstanding response to PEACEFUL protest. dumbass.
and btw, most of us are far from liberal unless you mean in the classical sense. take a poly-sci class and learn a thing or two about politics.

  13. eboyd32 Says:

@Sylinic what more demands do we need to make? we’ve made it clear we want money out of politics. is that not a demand?

  14. rpoet60 Says:

@mikeqike, what a dumb and dangerous thing to write.
Fortunately, most conservatives aren’t like you.

  15. mikeqike Says:

Where’s a hand grenade when you need one? Occupy idiots need to die once and for all. Happy New Year you liberal retards.

  16. StratoBlaster420 Says:

@Sylinic It’s about separation of corporation and state essentially.

  17. flyingfishdreams Says:

Maybe the 99% will vote green party 2012 ?
    Go Jill Stein !

  18. Sylinic Says:

I love the Occupy movement for the most part, but please make some “Demands”. I know that’s a kind of bad word, but you know what I mean.
